Hays Technology is currently partnering with a large WA Government organisation to recruit an experienced Manager, Technology and Security to lead a sizeable technology function responsible for infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture and technology operations.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, this is a senior leadership position responsible for driving technology strategy, cybersecurity governance and operational excellence across a complex enterprise workplace.
Your new roleLeading infrastructure, network and cybersecurity functions.Driving technology strategy and security governance initiatives.Providing expert advice on security risk, threat intelligence and incident response.Managing enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps.Overseeing technology budgets,



contracts and vendor management.Supporting the delivery of technology projects and strategic initiatives.Developing and mentoring leaders and technical specialists.Building strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeedExtensive experience in a senior ICT leadership role.Proven experience leading large technical teams in a complex enterprise environment.Strong background in cybersecurity, infrastructure and technology operations.Experience managing budgets, procurement and vendor relationships.Knowledge of security frameworks such as ASD Essential Eight, ASD ISM, NIST and ISO 27001.Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.The ability to translate business requirements into strategic technology outcomes.
