We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer / MR Driver / Skip Bin Operator to join our growing team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a variety of duties and working both independently and as part of a team.
The successful applicant will assist with:
- Delivery and collection of skip bins across Adelaide
- Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
- Transporting building materials to job sites
- Safe loading and transport of waste within legal weight limits
- General labouring and yard duties
- Assisting tradesmen and supervisors onsite as required
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the yard and vehicles
- Daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and professionally
Key Responsibilities
Skip Bin Operations
- Deliver, position, and collect skip bins safely
- Assess waste loads to ensure compliance with safe load limits
- Secure and transport loads correctly
- Provide excellent customer service onsite
Deliveries & Logistics
- Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers
- Assist with stock control and organisation
- Coordinate deliveries efficiently with office and supervisors
Labouring Duties
- Site clean-ups and rubbish removal
- Manual handling and loading/unloading
- Assist multiple trades across various projects
Skills & Experience Required
- Current MR Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Experience driving skip bin or similar trucks preferred
- Construction industry or labouring experience
- White Card (essential)
- Ability to safely load and secure materials and waste
- Valuable understanding of workplace safety
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
