The Site & Roster

Based at Renison Bell Mine, approximately 2 hours 48 minutes from Launceston.

- 7:7 roster - Thursday to Wednesday, days and nights
- 6:30am-6:30pm shifts
- Camp and meals provided at the Bluestone Renison Bell mining camp
- Approximately 15 minutes from camp to site

The Role and Duties

You'll work across the surface workshop and underground field service, keeping a modern UG ground support fleet running, including a Sandvik DS421 cablebolter, Normet Spraymechs, Normet Agitators, an Elphinstone Agi, a Volvo IT loader and light vehicles.

Duties include:

- Servicing, scheduled and preventative maintenance
- Breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostics
- Field service work both in the field and underground
- Cable bolter and spraymech work, completed underground

Your Value

You'll be trade qualified in a diesel mechanical trade (or LV trade qualified with relevant experience),



with robust mechanical knowledge and some exposure to hydraulic and electrical systems.

You'll also bring:

- Ability to read schematics and drawings
- Ability to work autonomously
- UG hard rock mining equipment knowledge (highly regarded)
- Drill servicing experience (highly regarded)
- Dual trade diesel fitter/auto electrician (highly regarded)
- Strong safety attitude and values
- Excellent workmanship and a passion for quality results
- Reliable, punctual and a genuine team player

Contract to Perm & What's on Offer

You'll start on site through Marble as a labour hire contractor, working alongside the client's team as a long-term member of the crew. There's a genuine intention to transition contractors onto their books within 6 months, based on skills, attitude and performance.

- $68.00-$74.00ph + super (starting Marble contract rate)
- Permanent rates from $65.00-$68.00ph + super, annual leave and sick leave once made permanent
