Salary: $70,318 - $75,164
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Rates Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining Council's property and rating records, processing rates transactions, managing rate debtor accounts, administering pensioner rebates, preparing property certificates, and providing high-quality customer service to ratepayers, solicitors, government agencies, and the public.
About You
- Experience in administration, finance, accounts receivable, or local government.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Well-developed organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities.
Local Government and rating administration experience will be highly regarded.
