Job Description

- Visit assigned households and confidently initiate conversations at the door
- Build rapport quickly, manage refusals and objections respectfully, and ensure informed consent
- Conduct accurate, structured interviews on a wide range of topics
- Record observations, follow safety and privacy protocols, and maintain strict confidentiality
- Plan your weekly schedule to meet agreed hours, including at least one weekend day
- All interviews are conducted using Roy Morgan's secure systems. We provide full training, a clear field manual, and ongoing support from experienced field managers.

Qualifications

- Empathetic communicator: You listen well, handle sensitive topics with care, and adapt your style to suit different households.
- Organised self-starter: You manage your time, plan routes, keep tidy records, and meet targets without constant supervision.
- Tech-comfortable: You are confident with tablets and following on-screen scripts/protocols.
- Nice-to-have: experience in field interviewing, door-to-door outreach, call centre/customer service, community work, or education services.
- Availability of 20+ hours per week (including one weekend day; flexibility to add hours at peak times).
- Current driver's licence and a reliable, registered vehicle.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) and the legal right to work in Australia.
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check (paid by Roy Morgan).
