We're partnering with a well‑known Australian organisation that is investing heavily in its Identity & Access Management capability. As part of a broader cyber security uplift, they're looking for a Senior IAM Engineer to take ownership of designing, implementing and improving enterprise IAM solutions across a complex setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale identity transformation projects, influence technical direction and collaborate with architects, security and infrastructure teams.
What you'll do
- Design, implement and support enterprise IAM solutions.
- Build and enhance automated Joiner, Mover & Leaver (JML) processes.
- Integrate applications with modern authentication and identity platforms.
- Improve identity governance, RBAC and access lifecycle management.
- Work closely with Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Application teams to deliver secure identity solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and provide technical leadership across the engineering function.
- Contribute to platform improvements, automation and best practice.
What you'll bring
- Strong experience working as an IAM Engineer within large enterprise environments.
- Experience with one or more IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity or One Identity .
- Robust understanding of authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth, OIDC and LDAP .
- Experience integrating applications and APIs into IAM platforms.
- Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python or similar .
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
