Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support research activities through data collection, analysis, literature review, and report preparation. The successful candidate will assist in conducting high-quality research, organizing information, and producing accurate findings that contribute to informed decision-making and project objectives.
Key responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, collecting and organizing qualitative and quantitative data, maintaining research databases, verifying data accuracy, performing statistical or thematic analysis, and preparing summaries, reports, presentations, and research documentation.
The Research
Assistant will collaborate with internal teams to support research design, monitor project progress, ensure compliance with research protocols, and contribute to the continuous improvement of research methodologies.
The role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple research tasks while meeting deadlines. The successful candidate should be capable of synthesizing complex information, identifying meaningful insights, and communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Sciences, Business, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Public Health, Computer Science,
Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
Ability to conduct comprehensive literature reviews and synthesize information from multiple sources.
Proficiency in collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing research data.
Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and data interpretation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for research documentation and reporting.
Experience with statistical or data analysis software such as SPSS, R, Python, Stata, SAS, or similar tools is an advantage.
Knowledge of survey design, questionnaire development, and data collection methods.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear research reports and presentations.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and research integrity.
Robust organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in research and data management.
