This role is responsible for comprehending complex project and change management requirements across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Project Manager to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide authoritative and timely advice on digital programs and projects
- Deliver change management, project management and project delivery services
- Develop complex project business cases, project plans, progress reports and closure reports
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in digital project delivery
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification or formal training in program, project and/or change management would be well regarded
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary full time (12 months with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $140,115 - $150,371 per annum

The Digital Health and Innovation (DHI) Division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation opportunities, in alignment with the strategic objectives outlined in the G28 Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Strategic Plan 2024-2028.
DHI is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery improvements to optimise Health Service performance. It also oversees strategic partnerships that help the Health Service implement alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, and driving improvements in performance, and innovation.
The PPD teams lead portfolio services and end-to-end digital project delivery for the division, incorporating digital assessment and discovery to delivery and transition to business-as-usual. Project Delivery services include problem and business analysis and project and change management across the delivery lifecycle.
