Housekeeper / Carer X 2

Flexible, Supportive Role in a Private Home

We are looking for two caring and experienced housekeepers to provide cooking, cleaning and caring services for an older but independent man.

This position is based in a private home located close to the CBD. We require two individuals to share a working roster of afternoon and evening work (to 8:00pm) each weekday evening, and mornings (from 8:00am) to afternoons (2:00pm) on weekends. This would result in each individual working between 18 to 20 hours per week. Flexibility is key, and driving may be required for errands and appointments.

Attributes Required

- Knowledge of safe cleaning techniques and basic food hygiene

- Cooking experience, with the ability to follow a recipe

- Robust communication and organisational skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

- Demonstrates reliability, trustworthiness, and respect





- Current police check and relevant clearances, if applicable

- First Aid Certificate is desirable

- Nursing or carer experience would be an advantage

- Current valid driver’s licence and safe driving record

Working Conditions

This role focuses on household management and supporting daily living routines, providing practical assistance. Nursing or carer experience would be considered an advantage, as it may contribute to awareness of health, safety, and wellbeing in the home. The role may also require driving for errands or appointments as needed and includes the care of small household pets.
