We are seeking to recruit a Store/Purchasing Assistant person who has worked in the transport industry. We are a market leading vehicle body building firm who specializes in a variety of products including semi-trailers and rigid truck bodies and have been doing so for over 50 years and have a staff of more than 40 people.

About the Role

- Keeping the store fully stocked

- Maintaining the highest level of visual merchandising and store conditions

- Receiving and verifying the quality and quantity of new shipments

- Providing stock items to workers on request and record it.

- Picking all items necessary before commencement of jobs

- Assisting the Purchasing officer with Stock control and maintaining the presentation stock.

- Assisting with Spare Parts Sales e.g. packing and bagging products.

- Manning the stores areas and ensuring nobody takes items without them being issued to a job.





- Relieving the purchasing officer in absences

- Enforcing in-store security and health and safety procedures and regulations

- you must be neat, tidy and organized

- have your own reliable transport
