As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking experienced Trade Assistants to join our team on a major infrastructure project in Karratha.
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for experienced Trade Assistants to support our site team in Karratha, WA for approximately 3 months.
This role will see you working alongside Pipefitters and other trades, assisting with the installation of multiple Mild Steel Cement Lined (MSCL) pipelines and associated infrastructure.
This is a FIFO opportunity from Perth only, with an immediate start available for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, your duties may include:
- Assisting Pipefitters and other trades with installation activities
- Preparing materials, tools and equipment
- Manual handling and site labouring duties
- Working safely at heights and within confined spaces
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following site safety procedures and quality standards
- Supporting the successful delivery of project milestones
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant on construction, mining, infrastructure or Oil & Gas projects
- Current Working at Heights (WAH) certification
- Current Confined Space Entry (CSE) certification
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Construction White Card
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Must reside in the Perth metropolitan area and be available to FIFO from Perth
Highly Regarded
- Experience working with piping or mechanical installation crews
- EWP Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Rigging, Dogging or other construction tickets
- Previous FIFO experience
