This role is for a Business Manager - Project Officers that assist in the operations of a Project/Program/Portfolio Office and the delivery of projects.
Working arrangements will be at the discretion of the assigned work area, subject to operational need. Due to the nature of our clients operations, not all work areas can accommodate work from home.
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate business planning, resource allocation and scheduling activities to support the integration and delivery of technical projects within the Defence context.Work with project leads and technical teams to document program updates and delivery plans, and ensure governance and reporting requirements are achieved and disseminated.Monitor project performance, including financials, resourcing, risks and dependencies; and provide accurate reporting to senior stakeholders.Support governance processes, including preparation and facilitation of design gate reviews,
project boards and approval forums.Organise and manage stakeholder engagement activities, including working groups, coordination meetings and integration forums across multiple projects and service providers.
Essential CriteriaDemonstrable experience in project coordination, business management or program support within ICT or technical delivery environments.Solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, schedules and stakeholder demands.Experience preparing reports, briefs and presentations for senior stakeholders.Ability to work in a team environment, participate in project meetings and engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
Desirable CriteriaPrevious experience in the management, operation or governance of military/strategic ICT based ISREW mission systems in the classified domain.
