About Us

Marmino Marine is a family owned & operated marine diesel mechanical business, We specialize in recreational & commercial industries throughout Western Australia, being the Perth Metro Scania Marine dealer and Cummins Specialist we look after a wide range of vessels 35ft and above.

We have a workshop operated out of O’Connor, but primarily our qualified technicians carry out work on site at yacht clubs & marinas across the Perth Metro area.

The Position

We are looking for an experienced & qualified Service technician to join our field service team.

Experience in servicing & repairing diesel engines with knowledge in engine rebuilds, gearboxes & generators highly regarded.

Experience in the marine industry would be looked at favourably. A successful candidate must be able to work independently, in a team, be self-motivated and committed to a meticulous job and an attention to detail.

Desirable skills include being competent, knowledgeable and have experience in engine maintenance, repairs and rebuilds, an understanding of electrical systems including diagnostics, fault finding and programming 12/24V and CAN systems.

Required





- Relevant Trade Qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Certificate or equivalent, Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Marine

- Ability to work within a team setting

- Commitment to perform quality work to job completion

- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize

- Be self-motivated, work independently and unsupervised

- Be well organised

- Commitment to safe work practices

- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

- WA C Class Drivers Licence

- Australian permanent resident

- Marine experience will be looked upon favourably

Preferred

- Previous mechanical and electrical experience working on light or heavy duty vehicles including marine, power generation & industrial applications.

Working hours are Monday- Friday 38 hours with the option guaranteed regular overtime.
