Our client is looking for a reliable and eager forklift operator to join their team in Forrestfield. This role is rotating weekly rosters between day and afternoon shifts, with temp to permanent opportunities available!
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload sea containers from rail wagons as trains arrive
- Load and unload steel coils from trucks using a counterbalance forklift
- Remove foam blocks from containers by hand that secure steel coils
- Work both indoors and outdoors
- Opportunity to receive training in Gantry Crane operations (for suitable candidates)
Requirements:
- Current LF Forklift Licence (experience preferred, but applicants with limited experience and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply)
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Gantry Crane ticket is highly regarded but not essential
- Overtime and weekend work available for those interested
