About the Role
Are you an experienced Psychologist looking to step into a leadership space where you can shape the next generation of clinicians? Do you want to balance your clinical passion with a rewarding mentorship role, all within a warm and deeply supportive multidisciplinary team?
At Therabees (Paralowie and Joslin), we are expanding our clinical leadership team and are seeking a passionate Senior Psychologist (3–5 years post-registration experience). In this pivotal role, you will provide essential guidance, support, and mentorship to our provisional and newly registered psychologists, while managing a dedicated caseload.

Here, you aren't just managing a standalone list of clients. You are collaborating on holistic care plans, sharing clinical formulations, and tackling complex goals together. About You
You are passionate about supporting children, adolescents and families as they navigate neurodevelopmental, emotional, behavioural and learning needs. You bring a thoughtful, strengths-based and family-centred approach to your work, and you genuinely enjoy collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful outcomes
In this role, you will work with a paediatric caseload that may include autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, learning differences, school-related concerns, parent coaching and family support.
You will also have an interest in completing ADHD, autism and cognitive assessments, including working within a dual-assessment model alongside Speech Pathologists where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
· Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-quality, neuroaffirming, evidence-based interventions for a varied caseload of children, adolescents, and adults (clinic-based across our sites, with occasional community work).
· Mentorship & Growth: Act as a supervisor (if qualified and board registered) and mentor to provisional psychologists and newly registered psychologists, helping them build clinical confidence and navigate their early careers.
· Service Contribution: Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to foster an environment of continuous learning and shared clinical expertise.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
· Experience: 3–5 years of post-registration experience as a Psychologist, with a strong background in paediatric, adolescent, or neuroaffirming and NDIS frameworks.
· Registration: General Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (AHPRA board-approved supervisor status is highly regarded, or a willingness to work towards it).
· Compliance & Checks: A current NDIS Worker Screening Check / Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police Check, and a current driver’s licence.
· Leading a team: A genuine passion for mentoring, training, and supporting early-career clinicians and provisional psychologists.
· Eligibility to register for a Medicare provider number
· Demonstrated skills and experience in the provision of evidence-based therapy in a paediatric setting
· Minimum of 1-2 years of paediatric therapy experience is desirable
· Experience working with children with autism and/or ADHD
· Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) Training or willingness to obtain.
