This opportunity sits within a well-established residential aged care home where allied health plays an significant role in supporting comfort, function, and independence for residents.
The exciting opportunity:
- Step into a permanent Occupational Therapist role where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to resident wellbeing and day-to-day quality of life.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, identify clinical needs, and contribute to person-centred care planning in partnership with the broader team.
- Assess and prescribe mobility aids, adaptive equipment, seating, wheelchairs, and other supports that promote safety, comfort, and independence.
- Work alongside nursing and site-based leadership to support areas such as pain management, pressure care, cognition, function, and environmental setup.
- Contribute to a service that values thoughtful clinical input, practical problem-solving, and care that reflects each resident’s individual needs and preferences.
- Join a structured full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with support available onsite rather than operating in isolation.

About you:
- You are an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with sound clinical reasoning skills and a genuine interest in supporting older people.
- Experience may come from residential aged care, community, disability, or a related setting, provided you can apply your practice in a thoughtful and person-centred way.
- You are confident completing assessments, documenting clearly, and collaborating with residents, families, and colleagues across the site.
- A practical mindset, professional communication style, and the ability to work well within an established service environment will be important in this role.
