MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST & ADMIN ASSISTANT

We need the right people in this role, so first and foremost we are looking for someone with a culture of service, to our patients, doctors and our team as a whole. Looking after people needs to be our top priority!

POSITION DESCRIPTION

- Ensure all patient accounts are billed efficiently and accurately and then lodged with the relevant body for payment.
- Batch and lodge Medicare and DVA accounts online.
- Manage all Workers Compensation and third party accounts.
- Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
- Liaise with doctors and nurses
- Maintain and manage patient records
- Answer incoming calls and deal with enquiries
- Complete any emailing, photocopying, data entry as required




- Manage outgoing and incoming of patient records
- Ensure waiting areas are kept clean and tidy
- Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean

Qualifications

- Excellent verbal, analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent presentation and telephone skillset
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as within a team
- Be punctual
