As the Senior Risk and Business Continuity Officer, you will contribute to building a high-performing and resilient organisation by supporting the Department’s risk, and business continuity functions. The role is responsible for enhancing frameworks, systems and practices that enable effective governance, informed decision-making and preparedness across the agency.
The Role
Lead and enhance the department’s risk management, business continuity, and compliance frameworks to support organisational resilience.
Partner with stakeholders to provide expert advice, facilitate workshops,
and deliver engaging training and awareness initiatives.
Coordinate the development, testing, and continuous improvement of critical incident management and business continuity plans.
Support strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational performance and governance outcomes.
Build strong relationships across government and industry, representing the department in forums and monitoring emerging trends to inform best practice.
Possession of or progression towards a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline would be considered an advantage.
