The Role
The primary purpose of this position is to create value for the A W Edwards business by mitigating operational risks and optimising opportunities. Responsibilities include:
- Mitigating operational risks and optimising opportunities.
- Responsibility for the performance of project financial functions.
- Providing cost‑control expertise through accurate forecasting,
risk control and financial operations.
- Delivering accurate, pragmatic advice to the project team while maintaining an acceptable level of risk.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction organisation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of cost‑control experience in a construction environment.
- Proficiency in Project Finance Forecasting, Risk Management, Accounting, Cost Management and Continuous Improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
