Job Description
Based at Mildura Base Public Hospital, a permanent full‑time opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our collaborative team. Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and quality control procedures to the highest standard. As the region’s main provider of radiology services, you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment, working with a diverse range of health professionals in both hospital and clinic settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including radio‑pharmaceutical preparation and quality control to the highest standard
- Consistently deliver high levels of patient care and service
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
- Promote and maintain the highest quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to perform high‑quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
- Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
- Applicants must be AHPRA registered and hold a VIC radiation licence
