Astek Australia is looking for Project Manager to be based Melbourne, Australia to support our client project.

Job Description:

- Lead and manage end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities for government/social sector projects.
- Develop project implementation plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation plans, and ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
- Coordinate with government departments, stakeholders, project teams, and implementation partners for effective project execution and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for data & analytics projects
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and visualization to support decision-making
- Lead preparation and review of project reports, presentations, status updates, and documentation for senior management and departmental reviews.




- Identify project risks, challenges, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and ensure smooth project implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Project Management, Government Projects, PMU Operations.
- Relevant certification in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent) and experience in managing large-scale project within a trading workplace, preferably in banking, or utilities sectors.
- Driven and able to complete work autonomously and lead teams under pressure.
- Hands-on experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence and JAMA
