Al Jazzar Meats is a family-owned butcher shop located in Lurnea, NSW, providing the local community with a wide range of premium, fresh and halal-certified meats and specialty products.

To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our team.

The Role

Responsible for planning, organising and managing the store's retail operations, including stock control, product selection, pricing, sales performance, customer service and staff supervision.

Your daily responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Plan and manage the selection and range of meat, poultry, smallgoods, frozen products and other retail products offered by the store.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate ordering and replenishment, and maintain appropriate inventory levels based on customer demand.
- Develop and implement pricing, promotional and merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance,



operating costs and stock movement and implement measures to improve store performance.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints.

Work Experience and Skills

- Relevant qualification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of retail operations.
- Ability to manage staff, stock, sales targets and day-to-day store operations.
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Great customer service.
