Job Summary

Due to recent expansion of our operations at Roma Airport, we are recruiting for Casual Ramp and Customer Service agents.

Aus Flight Handling Roma currently provides comprehensive ground handling services to Regional Express, Alliance, and Qantaslink.

This position will see you as part of a small team, performing all tasks associated with the ground handling of aircraft for our client airlines. You will initially receive training in basic functions of your role, and over time be introduced to more complex functions and procedures as you gain experience.

While previous aviation experience is desirable, it is not required, and full on-the-job training will be provided for the successful applicant.

Tasks you may be involved in during a shift include (but are not limited to):

· Baggage and freight makeup;

· Operation a range of powered and non-powered ground support equipment

· Loading and unloading baggage into aircraft cargo holds;

· Aircraft marshalling, arrival and departure procedures;

· Operating aeronautical radio systems;

· Provide exceptional customer service at check-in and boarding gate

· Proactively manage delays, disruptions, and off-schedule operations;

· Assist passengers with special requirements;

· Maintaining accurate flight records.

and from time to time to assist short-term at these locations.

What we will need from you:

· Fluent in spoken English;

· Reliable transport to and from Roma Airport;

· Punctual, reliable and with excellent time management;

· Computer literate;

· Current State Driver's License;

· Physically fit – able to lift 32kgs;

· Able to obtain an ASIC (requires a federal police background check);

· Able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, public holidays, and overtime as required;

· Flexibility around changing airline schedules and delays.
