Key duties

- Carry out commercial roof plumbing maintenance and rectification works across large facilities including shopping centres, high-rise office towers, medical centres and hospitality venues.
- Conduct roof condition assessments, provide detailed reports and accurate quotes outlining defects, recommended rectification works and preventative maintenance solutions.
- Maintain transparent communication with facility managers, building supervisors and tenants regarding site access, work progress and completion of work.
- Remove and replace roof gutters, sumps and box gutters, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Inspect, fault-find and rectify roof leaks in collaboration with facility managers, including mapping leak paths and identifying points of water ingress.




- Repair and replace apron flashings and cappings.
- Inspect, repair and replace downpipes, spreaders and stormwater connections to ensure effective roof drainage performance.
- Perform reactive maintenance and emergency leak response works in live commercial environments, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and operations.
- Interpret site drawings and specifications to ensure all works meet project and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate access equipment and maintain strict adherence to working-at-heights safety requirements and SWMS.

Key requirements

- Full WA Driver’s Licence
- WA Plumbing Licence or Roof Plumbing Licence
- White Card
- WAH
- EWP
- A National Criminal History Check or willing to provide one
- Ability to maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
- Proven ability to collaboratively work with facility managers and other customer points of contact
- Proven ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
