Following sustained global growth, a leading global enterprise software vendor is expanding its ANZ pre-sales team and has created a mandate for a Senior Sales Engineer to drive technical excellence across the Federal Government market in Canberra. Working alongside an experienced Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll become the trusted technical advisor to Federal Government customers, helping shape complex cyber resilience, data protection and cloud transformation initiatives across one of Australia’s most strategic territories.

The Opportunity Working alongside an experienced Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll take ownership of the technical pre-sales function across the ACT Federal Government market, partnering with customers to solve complex business challenges through cyber resilience, data protection and cloud technologies.

The focus is leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, workshops and proof of concepts while building trusted relationships with customers, partners and system integrators.

This is a growth-critical role at the intersection of cyber, cloud and data, working directly with CIOs,



CISOs and senior technical stakeholders across Australia’s most strategic government agencies.

What You Bring

- Proven Sales Engineering or Pre-Sales experience within enterprise software, cyber security, storage or cloud
- Strong expertise across data protection, backup & recovery, cyber resilience or enterprise infrastructure
- Experience supporting Federal Government or other highly regulated environments
- Strong understanding of AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift or modern infrastructure technologies
- Excellent customer presentation, solution design and technical workshop capability
- Experience working alongside enterprise sales teams to win complex opportunities
- NV1 Security Clearance preferred
