HAYS Sales is partnering with a well-established Western Australian business that has been supplying the transport, logistics, mining and industrial sectors for decades. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a motivated and commercially minded Sales Representative to join the team in Perth. This is a role for someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers face-to-face and building long-term partnerships. You'll work with a diverse mix of customers, from owner-drivers and transport operators through to large fleet organisations, mining companies, local governments and industrial end users.
Your new role
You'll be responsible for managing an established territory while identifying new business opportunities across Perth and regional WA. This is a relationship-driven sales role where your ability to build trust, understand customer needs and provide practical solutions will directly influence your success. No two days are the same.
One day you could be meeting with a transport company to discuss fleet requirements, the next visiting a mine site, local council or owner-operator looking to upgrade their equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales across an established customer territory
- Generate new business opportunities within transport, logistics, mining and industrial sectors
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits and product demonstrations
- Build relationships with operations managers, fleet managers, procurement teams,
transport operators and business owners
- Prepare quotations and follow opportunities through to close
- Identify cross-selling and account growth opportunities
- Represent the business professionally within the market
- Maintain sales activity and pipeline reporting
