In the role of Area Manager, you will provide leadership and guidance across six Return-It depots, including four sites in the ACT and two sites in NSW. You will assume full accountability for driving operational excellence, customer service, safety, team performance and financial success across the depots within your portfolio.

About the role:

- Ensure the profitability and operational performance of Return-It depots within your designated region.

- Lead and support six direct reports, with responsibility for a wider team of approximately 35–40 employees across your sites.

- Actively seek revenue growth opportunities to ensure Return-It continues to develop within the region.

- Meet sales targets by identifying, establishing and maintaining current and future client relationships.

- Build strong business relationships with existing and future partners to support continuous growth.

- Ensure sites operate efficiently and comply with all company processes, safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure all depots maintain a high level of customer service, presentation and retention.

- Work closely with Depot Managers to improve performance, resolve operational issues and maintain consistent standards across all sites.

About you:





- Lead by example and provide hands-on support and guidance to your portfolio of depots.

- Bring multi-site leadership experience, ideally from within a retail, hospitality, logistics or customer-facing operational environment.

- Place safety first and confidently call out unsafe behaviour.

- Foster a culture of customer centricity, accountability and continuous improvement.

- Develop creative and innovative strategies to achieve your goals and the goals of Return-It.

- Have the ability and desire to travel regularly between depots across the ACT and NSW.

- Be accountable for yourself and your team, and strive to make processes easier and more effective while maintaining high standards.

- Be a talented problem solver who is adaptable to change and brings a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
