About The Role

Ventia is seeking an experienced Driver to join our team on a casual basis. The duration is approx. 3 months, from mid-June till the end of August 2026.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

Safely drive Defence personnel to and from allocated Defence bases (Mostly between Howard Springs and RAAF Darwin)Managing and marshalling buses entering and exiting the pickup loop Coordinating the orderly movement of buses and traffic within the pickup area Ensuring personnel are directed to and boarded on the correct bus Acting as the primary point of contact for shuttle bus and transport operationsPerform routine vehicle maintenance including cleaning, inspections, basic fault finding, minor repairs,



and tyre/wheel changesComplete basic paperwork and filing tasks related to transport operations

About You

Experience as a Driver and operating a busA valid MR license, and H endorsement.Skilled in route planning and navigation, including the use of GPS and mapsPersonable, with good communication and customer service skillsAbility to work safely, follow procedures, look out for your team, and report incidents or hazards without delay

Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check.
