About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Procurement Officer and play a pivotal role in delivering efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement outcomes that support the delivery of essential services across the Macedon Ranges. In this varied and hands-on role, you will partner with teams across Council to provide expert procurement advice, coordinate purchasing activities and contracts, administer procurement systems and workflows, support tendering processes, and use data insights to drive continuous improvement and best-practice procurement outcomes.

About you

You are a proactive and customer-focused professional who enjoys building strong working relationships and finding practical solutions. With experience in procurement, contract administration, or purchasing environments, you bring strong attention to detail, a sound understanding of compliance and governance requirements, and confidence using systems such as TechnologyOne (CiA). You thrive in a collaborative environment, are committed to continuous improvement, and enjoy helping others navigate procurement processes with confidence.

We support flexible working arrangements. This role is initially office-based for onboarding, with hybrid work available in the future once established in the role, subject to manager approval and operational needs.
