Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team-oriented finance team.

Your new role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll function for a sizeable workforce while also providing assistance across broader finance and accounts administration duties.
Key responsibilities include:

- Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll accurately and on time
- Interpreting awards, agreements, overtime and allowances
- Managing payroll queries and maintaining employee records
- Processing payroll adjustments, terminations and leave calculations
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations and compliance reporting
- Supporting Accounts Payable and general finance administration as required
- Assisting with account reconciliations and data entry
- Collaborating closely with HR and operational stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed





- Previous experience in payroll processing within a high-volume environment
- Understanding of relevant payroll legislation, awards and payroll compliance
- Exposure to accounts administration, finance support or Accounts Payable functions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using large ERP or payroll systems will be highly regarded.
