The Role

Complete Field Maintenance is looking for a skilled Boilermaker Fabricator to join the team at our Forrestdale workshop. We are after someone who can work independently, take a job from the drawings, and see it through to completion to a high standard.

This isn't a repetitive production line role. We need someone who is flexible and can adapt to different types of work as the workload changes. You won't just be under a welding hood every day.

You'll play a key part in manufacturing components from engineering drawings, participating in both client and in-house rebuilds and repairs, as well as contributing to our growing inventory through service exchange rebuilds.

You’ll also be instrumental in creating new builds for weldment assemblies, ensuring efficient assembly and adherence to our high-quality standards.

Working closely with our mechanical and engineering teams, you'll help design and manufacture top-quality products, showcasing your expertise in a energetic environment committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manufacturing new components and weldment assemblies from engineering drawings.

- Execute precision fabrication and welding tasks, adhering to quality assurance standards.

- Working with our mechanical and engineering teams to help design and manufacture quality products.





- Accurately identifying repair times to assist with job estimation.

- Assisting with mechanical component tear-down reports and magnetic particle tests.

- Occasional sandblasting and spray painting as required.

Pay and Hours

- Rate: $50 - $60 per hour + Super (based on experience).

- Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.

- Flexibility: While we have set workshop hours, we work with our staff to offer flexibility when it’s required.

Our Workshop

Our 2000m² Workshop is set up with new tooling and machinery to make sure our team has the right gear to do the job properly.

- Facilities: 10T Gantry Crane, ample forklifts, Metal Lathe & Mill, Sand Blasting Cabinet, and a Rotary Hot Wash.

- Comfort: We have large portable evaporative air coolers and fans to keep the shop cool, massive air-conditioned crib room, personal lockers, and a ride-on floor scrubber to keep the workspace clean.

- Perks: On-site vehicle wash pad with a high-pressure hot wash, and the occasional team BBQ.

- Location: Our Workshop & Warehouse is located at 11 Archimedes Drive in Forrestdale.

What you need

- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade - (MEM30305, MEM31922, MEM30319, or MEM31925)

- 3–5 years of experience as a Boilermaker Fabricator.

- A strong work ethic, a great attitude,



and a commitment to safety and quality.

- Proficiency in FCAW & GMAW & CAC-A (Air Carbon Arc Cutting).

- The ability to read engineering drawings and plan workflows.

- Ability to pass qualification tests to AS1554SP.

- Valid Drivers Licence (C Class) & Forklift (LF) ticket.

Desirable - Not Essential:

- Dogging (DG), Rigging (RB), or EWP tickets.

- Basic computer skills.
