About MINPROVISE:

Our capabilities include mineral processing equipment supply, onsite installations, maintenance and repairs, shutdown services, offsite repairs, and fabrication.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Supervisor based in Mackay or across Queensland, who is available for FIFO work, to join our team and support our ongoing mining maintenance projects.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will play a key role in leading crews and ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is suited to an experienced Supervisor who has strong fixed plant maintenance knowledge and enjoys leading teams in a fast-paced mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise shutdown crews to safely deliver maintenance scopes within required timeframes.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to trades personnel.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site requirements.
- Coordinate resources, labour, and equipment to maximise productivity.
- Apply your trade knowledge to support quality workmanship and effective problem-solving.
- Monitor work progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build positive working relationships with clients, site teams, and internal stakeholders.




- Complete required reporting and documentation using Microsoft Office systems.
- Adapt to changing site requirements and priorities during shutdown execution.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Queensland-based candidates only (Mackay-based applicants preferred).
- Trade qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in mining, shutdowns, or heavy industry environments.
- 2 years' experience supervising maintenance crews in a mining, industrial, or shutdown environment is highly desirable.
- Mobile plant maintenance experience will be highly regarded.
- Current Queensland mining Supervisor competencies and site-required certifications (e.g., Standard 11, G1/G8/G9 where applicable).
- Strong safety focus with the ability to lead and influence teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
