A unique opportunity is available for a motivated doctor to undertake a 12‑month Clinical Fellowship in Respiratory Medicine at a large tertiary teaching hospital. The fellowship offers advanced training in the management of cystic fibrosis and complex lung infections, working within a nationally and internationally recognised multidisciplinary service.
The successful candidate will be involved in the management of complex inpatients, coordination of multidisciplinary care, outpatient management of patients with challenging respiratory infection needs, and participation in clinical and translational research projects. Fellows will work closely with an expert multi-specialty and multidisciplinary team whose work helps shape best-practice care both nationally and internationally.
Applicants should demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities,
and a collaborative approach to teamwork. The role requires the ability to work effectively across subspecialty areas and within broad clinical and research networks.
This fellowship provides outstanding opportunities to develop subspecialty expertise in cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, non-tuberculous mycobacterial disease, and other complex lung infections. There is also scope to pursue postgraduate research and academic development through collaborations with the Institute for Respiratory Health, The University of Western Australia, and Curtin Medical School.
This position is ideally suited to a clinician seeking advanced subspecialty training in respiratory medicine within a supportive, innovative, and academically active workplace.
