The Role Working within a busy,
professional workshop, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across a fleet of heavy vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Engine rebuilds and mechanical repairs
- Brake, steering and suspension repairs
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Identifying and resolving complex mechanical faults
- Completing repairs to manufacturer standards
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
About You To be successful you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic
- Experience working on trucks, buses or heavy vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Pride in producing quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- HR Licence (highly regarded but not essential)
