About the role

Join PPS Group delivering major water, electrical, and infrastructure projects as a Project Coordinator.

A Project Coordinator within PPS Water Group is a versatile professional responsible for supporting delivery of water infrastructure projects across planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning and demobilization phases.

Operating within a site based fabrication and civil construction workplace, this role bridges engineering and field operations, providing critical coordination support to Project Managers, Engineers, and site based teams.
The Project Coordinator ensures materials, documentation, quality, and logistics are managed effectively so that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

Key responsibilities





- Understands detailed project plans and schedules that outline the project's scope, timelines, specifications and milestones
- Tracks and reports on material use, stock levels, and site surplus using project drawings and specifications
- Reads, understands and interprets drawings to extract relevant project and materials information (Including P&IDs;)
- Assists engineers in drafting MTOs and tracking material movement across the project lifecycle
- Maintains procurement registers and supports coordination of supplier and subcontractor activities
- Participates in tendering activities including document compilation and scope review
- Coordinates logistics and transport requirements in alignment with project schedules
- Supports on-site quality control to ensure work complies with design and specifications
- Ensures appropriate preservation and storage of materials and equipment while on-site
- Communicates commercial issues or scope changes clearly and in writing to the Project Manager
- Participates in project meetings, reviews minutes, and follows up on action items
- Participates in HSEQ initiatives including toolbox talks and site safety observations
- Supports site staff including Superintendents, Project Engineers,



and Supervisors

About you

- Demonstrated experience in a project coordination or supervisory role within fabrication, civil, or industrial construction
- Experience working in or alongside water infrastructure projects is highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs;
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with document management systems advantageous
- Relevant trade, engineering, or project management qualification desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
