The Opportunity As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide high-quality specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis,

Key Responsibilities Include

Delivering comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment for consumers with complex mental health needsProviding evidence-based, recovery-oriented care across inpatient and community settingsSupporting family-inclusive and culturally sensitive models of careProviding primary and secondary consultations to clinicians, GPs, and community servicesContributing to prevention, early intervention, and mental health reform initiativesSupervising and mentoring junior medical staff, psychiatry trainees, and medical studentsSupporting multidisciplinary team development and educationParticipating in clinical governance, service improvement, quality and safety initiativesContributing to service planning, policy development, and strategic growth
