About the Opportunity

Black Belt Plus is a long-established, family-focused martial arts centre in Burleigh Heads, helping children and adults build confidence, resilience and life skills through martial arts since 1991.

We're looking for someone who genuinely loves helping people, enjoys sales and customer service, and wants to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

This is a relationship-focused sales and enrolment role where you'll guide prospective members from their very first enquiry through to becoming part of our school. Every phone call, tour and enrolment is an opportunity to build trust, create an exceptional experience and change someone's life for the better.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome members and visitors, creating a warm and professional first impression

• Respond to enquiries by phone, email, text and in person

• Follow up prospective families and trial students

• Book and confirm Introductory Lessons and appointments

• Conduct centre tours and guide families through the enrolment process

• Present membership options and assist families in selecting the most suitable program

• Support member onboarding, bookings and scheduling

• Process memberships and complete administrative tasks accurately

• Maintain an organised reception area and assist with day-to-day centre operations

• Deliver exceptional customer service to members, parents and guests

• Track leads, appointments and enrolments using our member management system

• Success in this role will be measured through appointment bookings, enrolments and delivering an exceptional member experience

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have experience in customer service, sales,



fitness memberships, childcare, education enrolments, reception, or a similar client-facing role

• Communicate clearly, confidently and warmly

• Enjoy building relationships with families and helping people get started

• Are organised, reliable and able to multitask during busy periods

• Take initiative, work independently and remain calm under pressure

• Feel comfortable discussing membership options and guiding families through the enrolment process

• Have experience with membership sales, enrolments or customer retention (highly regarded)

• Have experience working with children or families (highly regarded)

• Have martial arts experience (bonus, not essential)

Hours & Pay

• 16–20+ hours per week

• Primarily Monday to Thursday, approximately 2:30pm–6:30pm

• Saturday mornings required

• Additional hours may be available for the right candidate through special events, birthday parties, school holiday programs and future business growth

• $30–$32 per hour + super + performance bonuses (based on experience and results)
