We currently looking for an experienced External Sales Representative to join our team based in Hope Valley. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a thriving industry, with the chance to make a real difference.
The position comes with a fully maintained company Car, Mobile phone and laptop.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Identifying and pursuing new business and opportunities;
- Promoting steel products both internally and externally for the branch;
- Building and maintaining client relationships and working toward customer requirements;
- Monitor competitor activity and increase exposure within the marketplace;
- Work with the team and contribute strategic information and key results across the branch.
We are looking for someone with a positive personality who builds relationships easily and loves the sales environment. Being a great relationship builder and a team player will help you achieve positive outcomes while in this role.
To be successful in this role, you will also need:
- Knowledge of the steel, building, or construction industry;
- Previous experience in sales roles and an understanding of sales processes;
- Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills;
- Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously;
- Commercial acumen coupled with strong computer skills.
