About The Opportunity

As the Draftsperson, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and success.

Some your responsibilities will include:

- Create 3D models and 2D drawings for engineering projects, from concept through to detailed manufacturing

- Downloading catalogue factory models for customer presentation.

- Assist in design modifications and improvements based on feedback from production and clients.

- Ensure that drawings for projects are completed on time and in accordance with defined standards.

- Ensure drawings comply with statutory and regulatory requirements

- Collaborate with Engineering, fabrication, and sales personnel to ensure goals are being met.

- Develop Bills of Material & Material Take-offs

About You

The successful candidate will have:





- 6+ years’ experience in an engineering/drafting role

- Formal qualification in drafting

- Ability to develop drawings & models from concept through to manufacturing

- Extensive experience with some, or all, of the following CAD packages:

- MicroStation

- AutoCAD

- NX

- Solidworks

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

- Knowledge around mechanical design & steel fabrication

- High level of computer literacy, including packages such as Excel, Word, etc.

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work within a team

- Good problem solving and creativity skills
