About the Position
The following position is available to the right candidate who has a minimum of two years of experience in a civil design engineering office. The applicant must be motivated, work well within a team workplace and should have a strong civil design background, with experience in using engineering software. Work duties will include:
· Carry out civil engineering designs with the use of relevant software.
· Obtain information to produce and write Engineering Reports.
· Revise and produce Technical Specifications for different projects.
· Produce Bills of Quantities and Construction Estimates.
· Prepare the required documentation for project submission.
· Attend site inspections and provide Inspection Reports.
· Undertake site supervision and contract administration in accordance with AS4000.
· Liaise and discuss project issues with clients or other relevant parties.
· Attend project meetings and take well structured notes.
· Maintain neat and well-coordinated project documentation files.
· Comply with PCE’s Quality Management and Workplace Health & Safety policies.
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor Degree or Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering.
· Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience.
· Knowledge of AutoCAD and 12D software.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Driver’s License.
· Knowledge and experience in the local region will be highly regarded.
