Position Purpose
Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure the safety, maintenance, and technical systems of Riverside Marine’s fleet of vessels and meet the highest standards of safety, availability, and efficiency. You’ll ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, industry, and classification codes.
Requirements
- Competency or relevant trade qualification or marine qualification
- Demonstrated experience in Fleet Technical Management
- Ability to obtain MSIC
- Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s License
- Other relevant certifications as required
Essential Qualifications & Capabilities
- Experience in Offshore/Onshore Marine disciplines
- Understanding of ISM and Safety Management Systems
- Familiarity with Class and Flag State / AMSA regulations
- Technical knowledge of shipboard systems
- Experience with planned maintenance systems (e.g., SERTICA)
- Strong problem-solving, safety leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to build key relationships and deliver results

Key Accountabilities
- Support vessel compliance and defect rectification
- Monitor QHSE and Safety Management Systems
- Maximize vessel availability and reliability
- Coach crews and maintenance teams
- Build stakeholder relationships
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct internal technical audits
- Manage Planned Maintenance System updates
- Coordinate Out-Of-Commission activities
- Ensure vessel certification compliance
- Lead QHSE activities and incident reporting
- Provide support to the Senior Technical Superintendent
