Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our growing Business Services team based in Subiaco. We provide business services, taxation consulting, corporate finance, management accounting, outsourced CFO services and strategic business advice to a diverse range of SME, high-net-worth and corporate clients. About the Role:
Reporting to our Business Services Directors, your duties will include but will not be limited to:

- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts and board packs.

- Assisting with management accounting and financial reporting for a diverse client base.

- Preparing budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial models.

- Performing account reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.

- Assisting with year-end financial statements and reconciliations.

- Analysing financial performance and identifying trends and insights for clients.

- Preparing BAS, IAS and other taxation compliance reporting.

- Providing support on a broad range of business advisory and outsourced CFO engagements.

- Supporting the Directors on a range of ad hoc accounting and advisory projects.

You will work closely with experienced Directors who are committed to mentoring and developing your skilled skills.



This role offers exposure to a diverse range of advisory, management accounting and CFO assignments across high-net-worth individuals, SMEs and larger corporate groups. Training and ongoing professional development will be provided.

Based in the heart of Subiaco and within 150 metres of the train station our office provides convenient access, an enjoyable environment for our staff and a flexible work environment. This is a permanent part-time position of approximately 15–20 hours per week and we offer genuine flexibility regarding work days and hours to accommodate the successful applicant.

Key Skills and Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will need:

- At least three years' experience in a public practice accounting firm or commercial accounting role.

- Completed (or be near completion of) your CA or CPA qualification.

- Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills.

- Experience preparing BAS and IAS.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

- Experience using Xero will be highly regarded.
