Red Arrow Australia - Connecting Prospect with Talent

Red Arrow Australia are seeking experienced FIFO HV Electricians to join our Tier 1 mining clients team on a 2:1 roster in the Pilbara. 12 month contract with possible extensions.

Roster: FIFO 2/1 - 12 hour days
Location: Site based, WA
Hourly rate: up to $93.00p/hr
Start date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform commissioning, functional testing, and energisation of HV systems (e.g., switchgear, transformers, protection relays, and control systems).
- Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and test procedures.
- Conduct insulation resistance, continuity, polarity, and secondary injection tests.
- Test and fault-find LV systems.
- Commission control systems.
- Carry out instrument calibration.
- Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS 3000, AS 2067, and other applicable standards.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults and non-conformances.
- Maintain accurate test records and commissioning documentation.
- Liaise with engineers, package managers, and OPS personnel to coordinate commissioning activities.
- Adhere to all site safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

- WA (or equivalent) Electrical Licence.
- HV Switching Operator certification
- Strong understanding of protection and control systems.




- High level of commitment to safety and compliance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Current CPR/LVR and White Card.
- Valid driver's licence.
