Content Creator (Performance Creative) | Silky Tots
Part time, casual or contract, 2 to 3 days per week, in-house Somerville
Silky Tots is a premium baby silk brand scaling fast across the USA and Australia. We make products that solve a real problem: hair loss, knotting and sensitive skin caused by friction from cotton bedding. Creative drives our growth, and we want someone to own it.
This is a performance creative role. You'll turn raw footage into ads that stop the scroll and convert, using the data to guide what you make next.
What you'll do
- Edit quick. Cut and assemble UGC and creator b-roll into scroll-stopping ads (this is the bulk of the role)
- Take an idea or concept and build it out into images, carousels and videos
- Develop hooks and angles that speak to our customer avatars
- Read the ad account data and help work out what we need next
- Film supporting content on your phone when needed (a smaller part of the role)
What you need
- 1 to 2 years doing this in a performance or paid social setting (you've done it before, not learning from scratch)
- Strong, fast video editing in CapCut or similar, and confident in Canva
- A good eye for what makes content convert, not just look nice
- Ideas coming out of your ears and the ability to turn a concept into finished assets
- Fast, enthusiastic and happy to move at pace
Nice to have
- Comfortable on camera
- Experience in ecommerce or a product brand
You do not need graphic design skills. We'll train and support you on the performance and data side. You bring the editing, the creative instinct and the enthusiasm.
