Driver & Yardperson required for our busy Equipment Rental Business in Townsville

Flexihire is currently looking for experienced transport personnel to support the growth in the region.

About the role

The key responsibilities for this position include:

- Delivery and collection of hire equipment in our semi and tilt tray trucks. This will include occasional Manual Handling of small plant.

- Assisting others in the branch with service and maintenance of equipment, yard maintenance and customer service as required.

- Adopt and comply with a high level of safe work culture within our company & respect that we must comply with our clients safe work practices as well.

- Typical hours are 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday with overtime available

- Variety of workload mostly local to Townsville with some regional runs around FNQ/CQ

The key skills required for this role include:

- Forklift license preferred but not essential

- Experience with mobile plant

- Excellent level of Customer service

- Loading and unloading equipment from customers and trucks

- Cleaning, recording and inspecting all equipment returned to the branch Reporting equipment damage and refuelling equipment

- Assisting the front office Assist in keeping workshop, yard and service area clean,

- Mechanical or Hire Industry experience would be advantageous

- Excellent communication skills & team spirit





- VOC on Access & Earth Moving equipment advantageous but not essential.

- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changes on a daily basis.
