Dental Assistant – Creswick VIC

Creswick Dental Centre is a small, established private dental clinic in Creswick, near Ballarat and Clunes. We are looking for a reliable Dental Assistant to join our team.

This is mainly a chairside assisting and sterilisation role, with occasional reception/admin support when needed.

Experience is preferred, but we will also consider the right developing applicant if you are reliable, practical, quick to learn, and genuinely interested in dentistry long-term.

About the role

The role includes:

- Chairside assisting during dental procedures
- Sterilisation and instrument processing
- Infection control routines
- Room set-up and turnover
- Supporting patients before, during and after appointments
- Helping the clinic day run smoothly
- Occasional phone, booking and reception support

- Able to follow infection-control routines carefully
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Interested in a long-term role

Experienced Dental Assistants should be comfortable with chairside assisting, steri workflow and room turnover.

If you are still developing, you will need to show strong reliability, good communication, a willingness to learn,



and a genuine interest in dental assisting.

Hours and pay

Full-time or part-time may be considered for the right person.

Pay is based on experience. Above-award rates may be considered for experienced Dental Assistants.

Shortlisted applicants may be invited to a paid trial shift.

The clinic is located in Creswick, near Ballarat and Clunes. Please consider whether you can reliably travel to Creswick for regular shifts before applying.

Pay: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour
