The opportunity

As a Facility Renewal Planner, you'll play a key role in coordinating and delivering Council's minor capital renewal works program. Working closely with project managers, service areas and contractors, you'll help plan, schedule and monitor facility renewal projects, maintain long-term capital works programs, support contractor engagement, and contribute to safe, efficient service delivery across Council facilities.

What You’ll Do

- Coordinate the annual facility renewal budget nomination process and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain and update Council's five-year facilities capital works program.
- Deliver assigned minor capital renewal projects and support program implementation.
- Coordinate contractors, supplier compliance and operational service delivery.
- Prepare reports, monitor site safety, and respond to customer escalations.

What You Need To Succeed

- Experience developing and implementing capital works programs.
- Qualification in facilities, construction, project management or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience coordinating contractors and subcontractors.
- Strong planning,



scheduling and works program coordination skills.
- Experience using asset management systems for planning, forecasting and budgeting.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Progressed candidates will be required to complete a National Police Record Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC). Candidates must also hold a valid Victorian Driver's License.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa with full unrestricted working rights. Work eligibility will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
