An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Science (Chemistry) Teacher to join our College community on a full time, ongoing basis from Term 1, 2027.
Reporting to the Head of Learning - Science, this role will be responsible for teaching senior Chemistry classes (VCE and/or IB) and general science subjects. You will work alongside committed educators who value high-quality teaching practice, continuous professional growth, and access to modern teaching spaces and resources.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education
- Current VIT Registration
- Previous experience teaching VCE and/or IB Chemistry (essential)
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and the effective use of ICT to enrich classroom learning
- Well-developed classroom management strategies that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- A willingness to contribute actively to a collegial and collaborative work environment
- A commitment to upholding the ethos and values of the College
