We are seeking a diligent and responsible Part-Time Security Officer / Crowd Controller to join our team at Immediate Response Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their premises.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting regular patrols and inspections of assigned areas to identify and report any security concerns
- Monitoring and responding to security alarms and incidents, following established protocols
- Managing and controlling crowds at events, ensuring the safety and security of attendees
- Providing a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and enforce site rules and regulations
- Maintaining detailed records and reports of all security-related activities and incidents
- Assisting with the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures
- Collaborating with law enforcement and emergency services as required
What we're looking for
- A valid Security Officer license QLD
- Experience in a security or crowd control role, preferably experienced in Retail Operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, the public, and emergency services
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle security incidents effectively
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and upholding the highest standards of security
