About the role

MSS Security is seeking a reliable Casual Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tweed Mall (Tweed Heads - NSW). This position is an excellent opportunity for those with strong customer service skills to begin a career in security.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting internal and external patrols, acting as the first point of contact for retail staff and customers, and providing a strong visible presence to deter and maintain a safe and secure workplace.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Maintain a strong, visible security presence to support retailers with loss prevention, safety, and asset protection.

Respond rapidly and professionally to security incidents and escalate when needed.

Provide excellent customer service and directions to customers as required.

Observe and promptly report incidents,



completing clear and accurate documentation.

Perform routine patrols throughout the centre, both internally and externally, to maintain safety and security.

Requirements

Full Australian Working Rights

Current NSW Security Licence Certificate II in security operations (Or higher)

Current Driver’s Licence

Valid First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)

The ability to work a 24*7 rotational roster, including weekends

Master licence: 408742075
